I’m not a big fan of pranks. So naturally April Fools’ Day has never been a big day for me.
But there’s been a study of the most acceptable and unacceptable pranks out there and I gotta say I don’t really agree with the list.
How is messing with someone while they sleep an acceptable prank while messing with food isn’t? I feel both are a lame thing to do to anyone, but that’s just me!
I still don’t understand how pantsing someone in public is worse than catfishing someone or having a fake breakup.
April Fools’ Day is apparently most popular with the Gen Z and gets progressively less popular as you go up in age from there.
Here’s the most acceptable pranks:
- Filling a room full of helium balloons (58%)
- Putting googly eyes on unexpected household objects (42%)
- Posting something false or fake on social media (40%)
- Messing with someone who’s fallen asleep (38%)
- Intentionally scaring someone (37%)
